Lava Lounge Waikiki is a locally owned tiki bar and craft cocktail experience located inside Tiki’s Grill & Bar at The Twin Fin. Just steps from Waikiki Beach, the lounge brings together tropical flavors, local spirits, creative presentation, and the welcoming hospitality of Hawaii.

Our goal is to offer more than another colorful drink. Each cocktail is thoughtfully prepared to create a memorable experience, from the ingredients and glassware to the story behind the drink.

Learn to Make the Original Mai Tai

Lava Lounge is also home to Mai Tai Mechanics, our hands-on Mai Tai class offered at 5 p.m.

During this intimate 60-minute experience, guests step behind the bar and learn how to make the original 1944 Mai Tai with guidance from one of our bartenders.

The class explores the history, ingredients, and techniques behind one of the world’s most famous tropical cocktails. Space is limited to a small group so every guest can participate.

Each participant also receives a commemorative 1944 Mai Tai glass to take home.
